Subject

Sara Hanke is a research assistant at the Institute of Social Sciences in the Computational Social Science Department. Currently, she is researching within the research project of the Interchange Forum for Reflecting on Intelligent Systems (IRIS3D) on the influence of network structures on group fairness in online political discussions. In a previous research project (PROTECT), she focused on the portrayal of the right to international protection on social media. Her research interests include radical (right-wing) and populist parties and attitudes, and their impact on party competition and political communication. Methodologically, she is particularly focused on natural language processing and social network analysis.
