Subject
I am a sociologist specializing in the study of complex systems through a wide range of quantitative methods. Central to my research agenda is the integration of methodologies from various fields to uncover novel insights into social structures and processes that can only be discovered by combining different methods. My publications have addressed topics such as the underlying social dynamics of the ongoing opioid epidemic in the United States, adaptive staffing strategies during emergent pandemics, and information sharing among farmers in the context of climate change. Currently, I am initiating new projects focusing on the application of large language models in social science research and the analysis of patent networks.
