Anna Irini Tsipouras studied Social Sciences at the University of Stuttgart and Diversity and Society at the University of Tübingen. In her master thesis, she dealt with the experiences of women with endometriosis within an androcentric medical system. From 2018-2020 she worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Sociology of Technology, Risk and Environment at the University of Stuttgart and from 2021-2024 at the Methods Center in the Department of Qualitative Methods and Interpretative Social Research at the University of Tübingen. She works part-time in the field of civic education and was a fellow of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes from 2017-2023. Since October 2024, she has been an academic staff member in the Department of Sociology and Social Research Methods at the University of Stuttgart. Since 2025, she has been working on her doctorate and researching the experiences of families with miscarriages and stillbirths.
