Paul Malschinger is involved in the research project “Jugend und soziale Ungleichheit im Längsschnitt - Interdisziplinäre Analysen zur Reproduktion und Transformation von Ungleichheit in den Lebensrealitäten von Wiener Jugendlichen” (funded by the Austrian Academy of Science). He is engaged in quantitative research methods and their survey instruments. His substantive field of research include social inequality, transitions from young people and their future orientations.
